At Dynamic Measurement Group (“DMG” or “we”), our mission is to support children and schools and improve learning outcomes by creating practical, innovative, and powerful educational tools. This Policy Statement explains how we protect your privacy as you explore those tools on this website.
This Statement applies only to DMG’s practices in connection with your use of https://www.dmgtraining.org (the “Site”). DMG encourages you to review the policies of other sites you visit, including acadiencelearning.org and acadiencelearning.net and other sites you link to from this one. DMG is not responsible for the privacy practices of others.
What information does DMG collect about me when I visit this site?
DMG collects two types of information from you each time you visit the Site. First, we automatically collect information about your computer (such as your IP address, browser type, domain name, and referring Web site address) to allow us to operate the Site. Second, through the use of “cookies,” we automatically collect some information about your interactions with the Site to help us learn about your interests and make your online experience more convenient. To learn more about cookies, read the section titled “Does DMG track my activity on this Site?” below.
Other than as just described, DMG will only collect information that you voluntarily provide when registering for a DIBELS training session or workshop. To register, you’ll be asked to provide the name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and school or agency of anyone you wish to sign up. If there is a fee for the training or workshop, you’ll also need to provide your credit card and billing information. If the workshop includes a training book or other material to be shipped, you'll also need to provide shipping information.
How does DMG use the information it receives from me?
DMG needs your information to deliver the products and services you request. In those efforts, we may use the information you give us to: Tell you about new products, services, and trainings
If you provide DMG with your contact information (for example, when making an online purchase), we may use it to tell you about products, services, news, or events we think might interest you. If you register for a DIBELS training or workshop, we may also use your contact information to share event details with you and prepare for your participation.
Please note that your electronic contact information may be shared with third party companies that help DMG design and send emails. Some messages you receive from us may be sent with support from these companies, but DMG does not authorize them to use your information for any other purpose.
If, at some point, you decide you no longer want these communications from us, you can opt out of receiving future messages by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link provided with each email. Process your orders
If you make an online purchase, we’ll use your billing, shipping, contact, and credit card information to confirm and complete the transaction. Other companies help DMG fill your order by, for example, processing your credit card payment, sending you email confirmation, and delivering your packages. These companies may need your information to fulfil their roles, but DMG does not authorize them to use the information for any other purpose. Provide website features
If I give DMG information through this site, how will it be protected?
DMG protects your digital information through the use of Secure Sockets Layering (SSL), the industry standard for secure online transactions. SSL encrypts your personal information before it travels over the Internet so that it cannot be read until it reaches its intended destination.
DMG also protects any physical manifestations of your information by storing those documents securely, limiting the DMG personnel who have access to them, and destroying them when they are no longer needed.
Does DMG track my activity on this Site?
DMG, like most websites, utilizes “cookies” (small files transferred to your computer through your browser) and similar technologies. These technologies allow you to personalize your online experience, and they allow us to deliver customized content and advertising to you. For example, after logging into your Kajabi account, cookies allow the site to remember your credentials so that as long as you remain logged in, the Site can provide access to the services that you have purchased.
Most web browsers allow you to disable cookies through the Tools or Options menu, but disabling cookies may impair your ability to use the Site. Some browsers also allow you to turn on Do Not Track Signals, but DMG cannot honor or otherwise respond to any such signals you send the Site.
Does DMG collect information from children under age 13?
This site is not intended for use by children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of thirteen (13) on this site. If we determine that such information has been inadvertently collected, we will immediately take steps to ensure it is deleted from our system’s database.
How will I know if this policy changes?
If DMG makes any changes to this policy, it will update the “EFFECTIVE DATE” displayed at the top of this policy. If material changes are made, DMG will notify you via email.
Who can I contact with questions?
DMG welcomes your questions and comments regarding this Privacy Statement and invites you to contact us at [email protected]
