New Mentor Orientation (NMO) – Completion Requirements

The New Mentor Orientation remains visible in your account even after you complete your initial mentor certification. Some sections may appear uncompleted because they were added after your original certification and were likely already addressed during a mentor renewal workshop.

  • If you have already completed NMO and have access to the Mentors’ Network, any uncompleted content in this workshop does not need to be completed. It is provided as a reference and review resource for current mentors.
  • If you are new and recently attended a Live Mentoring Workshop and do not yet have access to the Mentors’ Network, all sections of this workshop must be completed this month in order to:
    • Gain initial access to the Mentors’ Network
    • Register for 2026 Annual Mentor Renewal
    • Stay on track with your mentor credentialing process

If you’re unsure whether the uncompleted content applies to you, use the questions below:

  1. Can you log in to the Mentors’ Network?
    If yes, you are a current mentor. Any uncompleted content was added after your initial certification and/or covered during a renewal workshop and does not need to be completed.
  2. Have you logged into the Mentors’ Network in the past?
    If yes, you have already met the initial requirements. This workshop is for reference only, and uncompleted content is not required.
  3. Did you recently attend a Live Mentoring Workshop and were assigned this content afterward?
    If yes, this content is required and must be fully completed this month to maintain progress toward your mentor credentials and 2026 registration.
